Writings
As my favorite English teacher once told me, a lack of composition leads to mental atrophy. To combat this, I end each day by drafting a short piece reflecting on the last 24 hours, discussing what’s on my mind, ruminating on current events, or anything in between; each unedited piece is collected here.

I compartmentalized this gloomy Saturday on College Hill into three distinct phases. First: I woke up around 12 PM, well after my scheduled 11 AM pickup basketball session; luckily, my teammates and competitors alike couldn’t break free from their almost certainly melatonin-laced twin XL dorm beds either. Second: I went on two walks, one after another, the first set against a discussion of venture capital, building startups, dropping out, and larping our woes away, and the second musings on Anthropic’s IPO and what it says about the AI-mediated, post economy world we’re on our red-hot way to. Third: in the relentless pursuit of procrastinating studying for my CHEM 0330 midterm, I spent 7 hours and counting creating this website; maybe not the evening Professor Wang would have wanted me to spend, but it’s an undertaking I’ve been meaning to work on for a while now, so it’ll do. It’s 5:20 AM as I write this, and I’m meant to be up at 9 AM tomorrow (today, rather). Wish me luck.
